Firefox 3 Download Day 2008
How many of you are using Firefox?
Prologue
It’s been 4th month since I migrated myself from Opera to Firefox. Not that Opera is a bad engine, but for some of particular secure sites, like banking, specific kind of javascript, toolbar add-ons for webmaster tools (alexa, google toolbar, social bookmarks) Opera just doesn’t support it.
Opera was also crashes so often several months ago, every time I was trying to access GMail. That’s how I decided to move.

So, Firefox, even it’s using RAM much bigger than Opera, it feels still pretty light (I’m running on 2 GB DDR2 RAM). Other than that, it’s a pretty flexible browser, with plenty of options for extra plug-ins, extensions, 3rd party programs, and it’s compatible with most of websites’ security.
The current version of Firefox today is 2.0.0.14; and soon, (the date is still unconfirmed), the Firefox 3 will be out. Of course there will be major improvising in features, securities, etc; but that’s not all about!
Climax
Firefox plans to break the World Guinness Book Record for the “Most Downloaded Software in 24 hours.” Firefox asking every one of us, who are using Firefox 2.0, to pledge ourself, and once the official release date for Firefox 3 is up, we may download it within 24 hours.
Once you pledge yourself, they will send you announcement once the due date has been set.
Epilogue
Well, there’s nothing in return, other than you will get the newer update of Firefox, but hey, at least you will make that Fox bounces for joy.
