Some of you might know PowerBall, some might not. It’s a lottery game in United States, along with bunch of other like Lotto, Cashola and others. You know how it goes right?

The price starts from $1 (uno dallah), and by guessing random numbers, you might hit the jackpot if your prediction is proven correct. I’m not really sure how the game play (since I’m a good boy…), beside that’s not really my main topic.

I’m more interested in the word of Luck. I wonder how many people are actually believe in good luck. For example, in Chinese believing for Feng Shui, your good luck determined from how you locate your windows, bed, dinning table, mirrors, doors and the direction of your house facing into.

Does good luck really exist? Or all of it are just a lottery picked up randomly in our everyday life? I have no idea.

I don’t believe in good luck; because if there’s a good thing, the bad thing always comes later on. If I bought bad lottery , I’m thinking should I didn’t buy it; but there is always this “I might buy the winning numbers today.”

It’s confusing, how you can call it as a good luck. You’re Dad signed up for a life-insurance, and died the next day — will you assume it’s a good luck?

An elephant fell upon your Ferrari on the road, blew the engine, but didn’t leave a single scratch on your face — good luck? Your parents might call it that way, but I bet you’re gonna get pissed off.

It depends on how we see things. I don’t have talisman, amulet or charm, which the world believe it will rejects all the bad lucks. People who are holding onto those kind of things, indeed are feeling more secure, and more likely see fortunate events surround them because they believe and try to look at it as a good luck.

The other thing, which makes people don’t believe in good luck, because they always assuming Good Luck equals to Money. Well, It’s true, that’s why human is one of those creatures that is hard to be pleased. Even God is having a hard time and massive headache dealing with human.

There’s no guarantee in any religion, or a proven method on how to make all the good luck (read: money) comes on your way that simple. There’s no way you can avoid dead, disease, lose, failure and everything else.

Mufasa said, we’re in the circle of life. You’re going up and down. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe in miracle; but there’s no such a perfect life. Even if you are living in God’s will, there are still hardships, troubles, and stresses — where the miracle, faith and your believe will help you facing all those craps.

There is no good luck. Good luck exists because there are things called as Bad Luck. It’s just how human dividing what they like and what they don’t — for all things they can’t denied.

How about PowerBall then? Several people hit the jackpots started from $1 million up to $250 million. They had a good luck? Uhm, maybe, but I suggest you to ask their close relatives, for what kind of bad lucks happen in their life after received that huge amount of money.

For example, all their relations, and friendships are screwed up, and in the worse case there might be someone attempts to kill them, manipulate, jerking for heritage and else.

Do you have a good luck on your side?

In Christianity, God teaches us to see everything from His eyes, and be gratitude, because everything can be turned into good things in His hands (Romans 8:28).

No, I’m not a religious person. I’m just a normal guy, who got tired facing a childish, selfish and whiny boss everyday at work, who swears and got upset for all the damn little things. I’m a simple guy, who prays everyday, wishing for the good luck might happens at work today…
