My ‘Love’ Letter For Terrorism

Last week on Friday, July 17th 2009, two explosions happened in JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotel in Indonesia. My cousin told me that morning how Manchester United canceled their tour to Indonesia, where after I found out this heartbreaking event was happening that day.

Plenty of speculations regarding the reason why it happened such as: Anti-MU extremist gone mad, a little bit out of control madness after the presidential vote day, or just a prank for fun.

I really don’t care about the reasons, I just can’t believe it happened.

I can’t believe if this kind of people still exist since the tragedy of Bali (02 & 05) which brought the dirtiest stain in our history.

I can’t believe if there are people who were ACTUALLY smile, laugh or even dancing for joy knowing the fact that hundreds of people were flatly died that night.

I can’t believe if the figure of Amrozi, Baasir, and their extremist Muslim community members inspired them to revived the most idiotic and retarded ‘”Heroic” story ever told.

I can’t believe that there are some people truly thought that this is an honorable duty by carrying the divine judgment into those sinners, which I believe it’s a complete bullcrap – (It’s not a Death Note story!).

No matter how you, hey you hypocrites fanatic terrorists with the mask of religion, are trying to sugar-coating your rotten principle into something majestic… you should know, and I know you know, that no matter how close you think you are to your whatever-it-is-stupid-god-of-your, you are never be a god. You have no right in taking other’s life.

There is no… with healthy mind and soul… right reason to take else’s lives. Probably it’s excusable if you have to kill to defense yourself in a warzone, or when someone attacking you with knife on the street; but to kill people you never had a dinner with, out of nowhere… is that quite a HOLY attitude do you think?

Terrorism… you bring unbearable shame to your country, and to your race. Please. Stop hurting yourself, and ours :(
