Men and Women, and Me

For years scientists have been trying to classified the differences between men and women. Not only scientist actually, but also psychologist, physiologist, doctor, neurologist, educated person, entertainer including Oprah and Dr. Phil, teens, husband and wife. Put it simple, it’s everybody.

Yeah, physically and mentally, they are different generally (normally). I am not going to write a theory about the mystery of men and women, nor discussing in-depth about this study :) -. I just feel like I want to write about my sunny weekend at my friend’s apartment celebrated the Baby Shower of his sister in law.

Just as expected, the foods were absolutely fantastic! ^_^ — Indonesian foods and snacks everywhere in the room. We got Sushi in addition. So many guests as well, which were mostly are young married couples, that also in pregnancy periodl. There were also bunch of kids came a long (around 4 – 7 years old I guess).

After lunch, then here’s the common phenomena. We split into three groups, which are Men, Women, and Kids – naturally.

The Kids

They went down to the parking lot, ran around and screaming, with their goCart and other toys.

The Men

They went down to the terrace, cigarette and beer, and started talking about Car, Computer, Movies, Ghost, Illusionists (David Cooperfield and friends) and also Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley’s death.

The Women

They stayed in the living room with nice and cool AC-ed room, and sat on the couch, talked about pregnancy, baby, presents, husband, foods, and about other people (I don’t know exactly since I wasn’t with them for all time xD).

……

From what I wrote, I am not going talk only about their differences, but it also reminds me about how fast the time has passed me by.

You know, I accidently said “Stay healthy, Mam!” to the wife that actually she’s about in my age, or even younger ^^;

Despite the fact that I am not married, it also feels (and always) like I just graduated from high-school yesterday, fooled around, did prank on everyone with friends; when today, before I realize it, I was standing on the terrace, holding a cigarette, standing and talking with young Dads, while watching their children running around the playground.

I am not really sure since when I am officially entering the adult society, or at least I couldn’t remember when was my turning point; but one thing for sure, the time keeps rolling no matter how confused you are with yourself.
